Step 1 – Meet for Coffee

We meet with you face-to-face to learn about your vision for your new home and talk through your specific needs, expectations and address any concerns.

Step 2 – Site Inspection

We meet onsite to make an initial assessment of your land including property features, slope, views, aspects and other planning considerations.

Step 3 – Design Process

You pay a small engagement fee that allows us to organise a site survey, soil testing, planning reports as well as the concept design. These documents are yours to keep. We also provide an estimate of the total build cost for your consideration. As part of this stage we help you consider many different factors such as:

  • Liveability
  • Buildability
  • Value adds to your home design
  • Energy efficiency
  • Correct solar aspects

Step 4 – Building Agreement (pre-construction stage)

Once you are happy and comfortable with the building plans, we present you with a building agreement for signing, and issue you with a copy of the insurance certificate. We sit down with you to make sure you understand all aspects of the quote and agreement and, are comfortable with your decision to proceed. We are committed to transparency with all our clients so also aim to keep our agreements jargon free.

Step 5 – Commencement of Works (construction phase)

We coordinate and manage the demolition (if re-building) and construction, and keep you informed of progress via regular emails, photographs and calls. We also supervise all trades personnel and works from end to end, to build your quality custom home.

Step 6 –Time to Enjoy Your New Home

Once the project has been completed it is time to move into your new home!

We arrange for a handover manual that includes warranties, appliance manuals and instructions on general home care. After 3 months we also perform a general maintenance check up on the property to make sure everything is in excellent working order.
